Create a private offering

There may be instances where you wish to create an offering that is not publicly available on the website, but still allow users to enrol into the offering. When adding a new offering or editing an existing offering you can modify the "Listing settings" to make the offering private or remove the privacy setting.

Making an offering private means it can not be accessed via the traditional URL, but requires users to use a specific URL (that you can share) to view the offering.

Make an offering private

On the "Listing settings" tab of the offering, scroll to where the "Privacy settings" are located.

Modifying the privacy settings

Enable the setting and then enter a string of characters into the "Key" text field. Make sure you also save the offering.

This key is appended to the URL to create a unique URL. Only by accessing the offering via this URL, can users view and enrol into the offering. The offering is also hidden from any catalogues it may be linked to.

When you view the offering you can view the full URL needed to access the offering.

Make an offering visible

If you want to make a private offering public, simply go to the "Privacy settings" of the "Listing settings" tab and disable the privacy setting by clicking on the Private toggle. Make sure you save the offering.
